Brian Goldmann

Brian Goldmann is a Partner and member of EA RESIG, with over 25 years of experience in both public and private industry. His experience covers a wide range of industries including real estate, financial services and investment management.

Brian supervises several fund administration teams responsible for fund accounting, compliance and corporate reporting for various distressed and opportunistic debt and equity real estate funds. He is also well versed in fund structuring including REITs and blocker entities.

Prior to joining the firm, Brian was a partner at the accounting firm Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP (IK), and real estate fund advisory firm Real Estate Systems Implementation Group, LLC (RESIG).

Brian came to RESIG from Fortress Investment Group where he worked as a senior controller in both the private equity and real estate investment trust groups. While at Fortress, he was tasked with re-engineering the financial reporting process of private equity, which improved efficiency, reduced costs and advanced reporting timelines. Prior to Fortress, Brian was a Vice President of corporate accounting at Goldman Sachs Group where he co-managed the global senior accounting officer group.

Brian began his career at a Big 4 accounting firm as an auditor in the financial services group.
