Debra Schoenberg

Debra Schoenberg is a Vice President at EA RESIG LLC, with nearly 20 years of public and private accounting experience. She manages the fund administration for real estate private equity open end and closed end funds and supervises staff on several funds to ensure that work is prepared accurately and that all deadlines are met for clients. Debra also reviews financial statements and footnotes for year-end audits and quarterly reporting and calculates various performance metrics as necessary.

Debra coordinates initial fund set up for new funds including review and interpretation of legal agreements, setting up complex workpapers and coordinating the creation of new entities in Yardi. In addition, she reviews investor statements for quarterly and annual reporting and manages capital call and distribution procedures.

Prior to joining the firm, Debra served as Controller and Vice President for a real estate investment manager which offers investment products and services within a global leader in financial services industry. She supervised the fund administration team and reviewed their work.

Additionally, Debra was responsible for financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP on a quarterly and annual basis and managed the audit and tax preparation processes. She also reviewed monthly and quarterly reporting for underlying property investments, managed fund level cash flows to determine needs for capital events, was actively involved in the acquisition and disposition of fund investments and led initiatives to launch and liquidate funds on the platform.
